Sheffield bakers set to compete and raise funds for hospital

Inspired by the Great British Bake Off, Neurobake is back once again for 2015.

Sheffield companies are invited to take part in Neurocare charity’s corporate networking bake-off to be held at Europa Car Showrooms on Monday, October 19, at 5.30pm.

Each company nominates a ‘star baker’. The Star Bakers bring their creation and their supporting colleagues to the event, held at Europa Showroom, to be judged by Great British Bake Off’s own Howard Middleton and Neurocare Ambassador and Paralympian Craig McCann.

Organisers say the event will be an evening filled with good food, good company and good cake.

The chance to network with other companies is also on the menu. The winner will walk away with the Neurobake trophy, a cookery course of their choosing hosted by The Milestone in Kelham Island and the prestige of owning the Neurobake title until next year.

Last year’s event raised £1,500 for Neurocare. WANdisco is sponsoring the event meaning 100 per cent of funds raised go directly towards improving wards and theatres at Sheffield’s NHS Hospitals.
