Get on your bike with Doncaster Wheelers Cycling Club this weekend when it hosts its family cycle ride as part of the Get Doncaster Cycling Festival.
The event takes place on Sunday, May 18, starting at The Doncaster Rugby Club, Castle Park, Armthorpe Road, Doncaster.
A spokesman said: “Come and join us for a free to enter ten mile cycle ride around the scenic Sandal Beat Woods and Doncaster Racecourse.
“Ride leaders will be on hand to assist you through the route to offer cycling advice.
“This route is using mostly off road tracks so your cycle should be a mountain bike or hybrid style bike in good condition, it is not suitable for road racing type bikes.
“Also attending the ride after a successful season is Doncaster Knights wing and keen cyclist Dougie Flockhart.”
Anyone wishing to take part should meet at the car park at 9.40am for a 10am start.
Take along appropriate clothing for the ride, and a drink. All ages are welcome but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied with an adult.
