Local children wanted for Jack and the Beanstalk panto at Cast

Doncaster's flagship arts centre Cast is looking for local young talent to perform alongside the professionals throughout the run of this year's pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

The countdown to Christmas has already begun with little over 4 months to go until opening night. Jack and the Beanstalk will climb to new heights with a giant of a show from the team behind Cinderella, Aladdin, and Sleeping Beauty. Expect all your favourite panto magic, music and mayhem in a tale where the sky’s the limit!

Entrants will need to be aged 12+ and a strong dancer to enter the open auditions and Cast is looking for 18 dancers in total.

Open Auditions for the Young Ensemble will take place in the evening on Monday 19 and Wednesday September 21 and following a successful audition, shortlisted performers will be invited to the next round of auditions on Saturday October 24, 2016, from 10am to 5pm.

Youngsters are advised to wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes for the auditions and under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. School age performers will be required to obtain performance licenses and all successful dancers must be available on all dates for production week (November 26, to December 2, 2016) and performances December 2-31.
