Plate spinning, juggling and much more are all part of a circus show and workshop taking place in Crowle this weekend.

The town market’s summer entertainment programme commences this Saturday and there will be free events for people to participate in and watch.

Chairman of Crowle and Ealand Charter Group Jack Bower said: “We are really looking forward to this event. People of all ages can come along and try their hand at plate spinning, juggling and lots more. It should be really good fun. There will be a chance to watch the professionals do it with performances throughout the day. The circus was very popular last year. We’ve recently had to purchase more stalls to cater for the number of traders who want to sell their great products at our market. We hope the circus will also encourage new visitors to the market so they can see for themselves some of the great products available such as fresh fish, homemade pies, cakes, plants, crafts, real ale and the award winning artisan bakery.”

There will also be an egg decorating contest for the children with some great Easter themed prizes up for grabs. Future attractions at the market include a live animal show and live music.

The market starts at 9am in Crowle Market Place. The first circus show will be at 10.45am with the free workshop available throughout the up until 1pm.
