The first, 60-minute episode of each heat week sees five new celebrities face the infamous Mystery Box Test before being thrown straight in at the deep end - heading to a professional restaurant kitchen and preparing dishes for paying customers.

The heats will also see contestants prepare two-course meals in the Masterchef kitchen for John and Gregg, take part in the ‘relay invention test’, feed hordes of hungry people in the mass catering challenge and cooking dinner for a panel of past Celebrity Masterchef winners and finalists.

..and then it’s on to the semis!

Who will feature this week?

The first contestants to appear will be comedian Tommy Cannon, TV presenter and actor Donna Air, TV hustler Alexis Conran, vlogger Marcus Butler and actor and singer Sinitta.

Celebrity MasterChef is on Wednesday at 8pm on BBC One.
