Trio of treats at Doncaster’s Cast tonight

It’s three for the price of one at Doncaster’s Cast tonight as the theatre showcases three pieces from the BE Festival, an international theatre festival, which aims to bring together the most daring and unforgettable new performances from across Europe.

The audience will get a unique chance to see three award- winning festival favourites in one night, each half an hour long, with a chance to eat and discuss what you’ve seen.

The show features Al Cubo by Betti Combo, from France, in which three buffoons help and defy one another in equal measure. Masterful circus meets mischievous theatre, with buckets of charm.

Second up are Tao Te by Hungarian group Ferenc Feher, an intensely physical piece, fusing freestyle dance with martial arts, in which two men are dragged through a series of conflicts and struggles and Next Door by Denmark’s Out of Balanz which follows the story of Ivan’s neighbour passing away and Ivan’s realisation that he doesn’t know anything about him. Described as intimate storytelling and high- octane physical theatre.

The performance begins at 7.45pm. Tickets are £8. For more information call 01302 303959.
