“The quality and depth of Martin’s writing and his sophisticated sound has endeared his songs to all those who come across them; audiences are regularly moved to tears by the poignant and affecting themes of the songs and their heartbreakingly tender performances.

“Martin has channeled his energy into writing the most quietly devastating songs he could in an effort to deal with the complexities of adulthood, life, death and relationships.

“Stunning audiences up and down the UK, Martin has also played sold-out shows at venues such as Camden’s Roundhouse, as well as major festivals such as Glastonbury.

“The Lake Poets’ live show has gained a justified reputation for being a truly special experience, whether featuring just Martin and his delicate, soaring voice or whether he is joined by his band of family and friends.”
