The shows, which were due to take place at Town Moor on June 26 and July 17, have both been put on hold following the Government’s announcement that the ending of Covid-19 restrictions on June 21 has been pushed back.

Despite the concerts being cancelled, racing will still take place on both dates.

“We are currently contacting all customers with a ticket booking with details of how they can confirm their attendance or, alternatively, bookers can wait until we can confirm the rescheduled date for Rag 'N' Bone Man and transfer their ticket to this new date. All customers will have received an email by Saturday 19 June.

“Unfortunately, our Kaiser Chiefs Live After Racing event on 26 June will now be rescheduled to 2022. The good news is that the exciting live horse racing will still be taking place next Saturday.”

The Kaiser Chiefs concert has already been postponed once before, with the Leeds based chart stars due to play at the Racecourse in July 2020, with the show being pulled during the first lockdown last summer.
