THE Knights have continued their summer recruitment drive with the signing of Irish prop Royce Burke-Flynn.
The well-travelled 24-year-old tight head prop arrived at Castle Park from French side Mantauban.
Burke-Flynn began his career in the Leinster Academy, graduating through the Schools, Development and A squads before spells with Italian club Livorno and South African outfit Western Province.
He has also represented Ireland at schoolboy and under 19 level.
Knights director of rugby Brett Davey said: “Royce is exactly what I was looking for to complement what we have in the front row - a highly competitive scrummager with a deep love for the game.
“The fact he has spent time developing the art of front row play in countries such as Ireland, South Africa, France and Italy gives him an experience level above most 24-year-old props.”
