Rotherham Titans have received a boost as they prepare for aturday’s first leg in the promotion play-offs at Bristol at the Memorial Stadium.
Irish winger, Michael Keating, the club’s top try scorer in the Championship with 10, has re-signed for next season, dismissing rumours that he would rejoin Doncaster Knights following their return to the Championship.
Keating, who has represented Ireland at U-18,U-19 and U-20 levels, has made a big impact since he arrived a year ago from Castle Park.
“Rotherham have the best backs in the league, so it wasn’t a hard decision to stay at Clifton Lane where we play an exciting, attacking style of rugby,” he said.
“My goal now is to make sure that we compete effectively in the two games against Bristol.
“We know we are a far better side that we were in the previous matches earlier this season against them, and we want to cause an upset down there,” says Keating.
