Doncaster Knights v Worcester Warriors: Team news

Doncaster Knights
Doncaster Knights

Clive Griffiths has kept faith in the starting XV that produced a second half comeback against Jersey RFC for tomorrow’s welcoming of Worcester Warriors.

The Knights’ pack, that had enjoyed a dominant afternoon on the Island last weekend, will look to keep their perfect run going as they line-up alongside former Premiership side Worcester.

Doncaster’s forward line will be headed by a front row of Richard List, Ben Hunter and Colin Quigley.

Matt Challinor - who scored the Knights’ only try last Saturday - is accompanied by Tyler Hotson in second row.

Meanwhile, captain Michael Hills is joined by Alex Shaw, who slots in at number 8, and Latu Makaafi at the back of the scrum.

Tomasi Palu will hope to build on an impressive debut as he makes his second start at scrum half whereas Jamie Lennard will pull the strings from stand-off. Bevon Armitage and Mat Clark continue in midfield.

The Knights’ back three is made up of Paul Jarvis, Tyson Lewis and the current joint-Championship top points scorer Dougie Flockhart.

The only change sees back row forward Phil Eggleshaw recalled to the squad at the expense of Paul Roberts.
