The Knights have eased their injury woes with the signing of Italian prop Tiziano Pasquali.

Both Ross Davies and Tom Davies have been ruled out for extended periods, leaving Clive Griffiths short in front row options.

But he has acted to snap up 19-year-old Pasquali on loan from Premiership champions Leicester Tigers.

The promising youngster can play either side of the hooker and is a current member of the Italy U20 squad, set to play a big role in the upcoming U20 Six Nations.

Pasquali has recently signed his first senior contract after two years in the Tigers development squad.

He has featured regularly in the Premiership A League with the Tigers this season.

His rugby0 life began in his early teens but he impressed with Lazio in Rome and earned a call up to the Italy U16 side.

Pasquali moved to Edinburgh to board at renowned rugby school Merchiston Castle but moved to Leicester after a year to train full time with the Tigers.
