Former Jersey full back Glenn Bryce has joined the Knights.

The Knights have snapped up a player who knows all about winning promotion from National One.

Full back Glenn Bryce has become the latest player to move to Castle Park after completing his switch from Jersey.

The 22-year-old was one of the Channel Islanders’ first full time professionals when he joined in 2011 and went on to play a major role in their promotion into the Championship.

And Bryce is excited about the prospect of going through the same journey with the Knights.

“Promotion is obviously the ambition for everyone associated with the club,” Bryce said.

“I know that won’t be easy and a lot of teams will want to raise their game when they play us.

“But I’m looking forward to taking the challenges on.

“I’m very excited about my move to Doncaster.

“I’ve heard excellent things about the facilities and training set up from Colin Philips who played with for Scotland U20s.

“I’m looking forward to starting training, staking my claim for a start and hopefully playing my part in a successful season for the club.”

Bryce is the only recognised out and out full back currently in the Knights squad though Jamie Lennard and Dougie Flockhart have both played their in the past.

He featured in all five of Scotland’s Junior World Cup matches in 2011 after becoming a regular for Scottish Premier League side Heriot.

Bryce is known for his blistering pace and is the latest speedster to join the Knights backline.
