Crunch time for Knights and Dons

DONCASTER is set for a big weekend of rugby with Knights and Dons both facing crunch games.

Knights welcome Bristol to Castle Park on Friday night (7.45pm) for their opening fixture in the Championship promotion play-offs.

Brett Davey’s side will do battle with Bristol, Nottingham and London Welsh over the next couple of months in Pool A for a coveted place in the semi-finals.

Friday’s clash is followed on Sunday by the Dons’ Co-operative Championship One opener against Whitehaven at the Keepmoat Stadium (3pm).

Tony Miller’s men are targeting promotion back to the second tier this term.
