This week confidence has been reinstalled after a pleasing result against Esher at the weekend.
Having controlled the game well and kept our focus, even though it wasn’t a perfect performance, our game management was good and we showed off some good individual skills in a game we took charge of.
Esher are a dangerous side, but I’ve noticed that we are a lot fitter and better conditioned than many sides in this league which stands us in good stead if we stay injury free.
After the Nottingham defeat, we were all pretty down, not just because we’d lost, but because we played so badly - it was soul-destroying.
We managed the same number of tries, yet we gifted them points and it was ours to lose in the end
