DONCASTER are this week bracing themselves for the verdict in the Shaun Leaf betting case - and boss Tony Miller admits that it can’t come quickly enough.
A dark cloud still hangs over the club as the RFL continue their investigation into Leaf’s alleged £200 punt on his own team to lose against Wakefield in the Challenge Cup earlier this month.
For boss Miller, whose side have now lost six on the spin, the revelations could not have come at a worse time.
And he takes his team to Workington Town on Sunday hoping that a verdict on Leaf, expected to be announced by the end of the month, is delivered sooner rather than later.
