We have previewed the action with our race by race guide.

2.30pm Group Two Norfolk Stakes (5f). Selections: Lucci 10/3 and Project Dante 12/1

Wesley Ward has won this event twice and has two interesting contenders in Lucci and Nakatomi. Lucci won nicely on debut at Belmont and looks the pick of the duo with John Velazquez taking the ride. Nakatomi was also successful on his first career start at Keeneland and has been gelded since. They both look sure to go well, whilst at a bigger price, Project Dante is interesting having impressed when scoring at York on his debut last month.

3.05pm Group Three Hampton Court Stakes (1m 2f). Selection: Mohaafeth 11/10

Mohaafeth was taken out of the Derby at the 11th hour and looks the leading player for this event. This 10-furlong trip is perfect and he has looked sensational in three starts this term, which included a facile win at Newmarket in Listed company last time out. Roman Empire and Movin Time can follow him home.

3.40pm Group Two Ribblesdale Stakes (1m 4f). Selection: Noon Star 9/4

Noon Star is trained by a master in Sir Michael Stoute and with connections deciding to bypass the Oaks in favour of coming straight to Royal Ascot, he looks a fascinating contender. The three-year-old was second in the Musidora and should have learnt plenty from that event.

4.15pm Group One Gold Cup (2m 4f). Selection: Stradivarius 5/6

This is all about Stradivarius. A three-time winner of this event, he is chasing a fourth straight victory which would see him emulate Yeats. He was an easy winner of the Sagaro Stakes at Ascot on his reappearance and with these conditions playing firmly to his strengths, he is taken to etch his name into history. Subjectivist was impressive in the Dubai Gold Cup last time out and is another leading player along with Spanish Mission. However, Stradivarius is clearly the class act and should take plenty of beating.

5.00pm Britannia Handicap (1m). Selections: Raadobarg 8/1 and Horoscope 14/1

Raadobarg is improving at a rate of knots, completing the three-timer in fine fashion at Haydock last time out. That win came on heavy, but he was successful on quicker ground at Leicester earlier this term and he makes appeal along with Horoscope who has run some good races in defeat for Aidan O’Brien this term.

5.35pm King George V Stakes (1m 4f). Selections: Sir Lamorak 4/1 and Sir William Bruce 8/1

Sir William Bruce looked to have stamina-laden credentials when getting off the mark in a handicap at Leopardstown last time. He relished the step up to 12 furlongs on that occasion and makes appeal for Aidan O’Brien, along with Title who scored in good style at Yarmouth last time and now steps up in grade for this event.

6.10pm Buckingham Palace Handicap (7f). Selections: Aldaary 7/1 and Blue Mist 12/1

Tomfre is interesting having finished a good second on both of his starts this term and boasts a solid profile, whilst Aldaary is a course and distance winner and also comes into the equation in the finale.
