Her Majesty The Queen is also potentially going to make an appearance with Tactical well-fancied for the monarch in the Jersey Stakes.

We have previewed the action with our race by race guide.

2.30pm Listed Chesham Stakes. Selection: Point Lonsdale 6/5

The well-backed Point Lonsdale makes plenty of appeal. A son of Australia and a full-brother to Broome, he impressed on debut at the Curragh and despite fellow debut scorers New Science and Masekela looking live dangers, he looks a very exciting prospect.

3.05pm Group Three Jersey Stakes. Selections: Tactical 8/1 and Bellosa 8/1

Lots in with chances, but Her Majesty The Queen’s Tactical holds live claims. Succesful at the Royal Meeting last term, this looks his optimum trip and he makes plenty of appeal, along with Bellosa who has impressed in winning both of her starts, whilst last year’s Coventry Stakes winner Nanda Parrado is interesting at bigger odds in this event.

3.40pm Group Two Hardwicke Stakes. Selections: Broome and Wonderful Tonight

Lots in with chances as Aidan O’Brien runs four, headed by Broome who has won three of his four starts this term. He looks the pick of his runners along with Melbourne Cup second Tiger Moth. 2019 St Leger hero Logician is respected, along with Hukum who scored over course and distance at last year’s meeting. However, Wonderful Tonight also enters the equation. She was successful on Champions Day and gets a fillies’ allowance here.

4.20pm Group One Diamond Jubilee Stakes. Selections: Starman and Sonaiyla

Lots in with chances, but Starman has won four of his five starts and impressed at York on his reappearance. Testing ground would be a worry, but he looks the class act along with Dream Of Dreams who was second in this race last year. Glen Shiel is ridden by Hollie Doyle and the pair could back up their Champions Sprint along with the progressive Sonaiyla in a brilliant renewal.

5.00pm Wokingham Handicap. Selections: King’s Lynn and Chil Chil

Her Majesty The Queen could have a Royal winner with King’s Lynn quickly turned out having finished seventh in Tuesday’s King’s Stand Stakes. He looks well-handicapped and it looks of note that Ryan Moore will be aboard. His stable companion Chil Chil is another to note off top-weight along with last year’s winner Hey Jonesy, Rohaan and Raaeb who remains unexposed in a wide-open event.

5.35pm Golden Gates Stakes. Selection: Alfaadhel

Roger Varian could hold all the aces with Alfaadhel, a dual winner this term taken to beat Fantastic Fox who scored in good style on his latest start.

6.10pm Queen Alexandra Stakes. Selections: Stratum and Cleonte E/W

The final race of the week. Stratum scored at Gowran Park in April, before finishing fifth at Navan last time out. Kept fresh for this race since he looks sure to make a bold show along with Chester Cup hero Falcon Eight and Cleonte who boasts course and distance winning form and looks a big price in the finale.
