Cieren Fallon Jr is set to be crowned Champion Apprentice whilst Oisin Murphy is also on track to defend his Champion jockey title. The highlight of the afternoon of racing is the ultra-competitive November Handicap. We have previewed all of the action with stats, analysis and also tips from BettingExpert’s Stephen Harris.

As already alluded to the November Handicap is the highlight at 3.15pm live on ITV 4. The 12-furlong event has been won by the likes of Times Up, Litigant and Royal Line in recent years with the 2019 renewal abandoned because of waterlogging. The rampant Euchen Glen has won three of his last four starts, which has included dual Group Three wins. He was particularly impressive last time on heavy ground at Newbury when winning in a canter. He has to defy top-weight in this event, but is clearly in the form of his life and will relish the ground.

However, there are plenty of dangers headed by the unexposed Sam Cooke. He was denied by a nose at Ascot on his latest start at Ascot in July and comes into the race very fresh. He is racing off a mark of 92 and is of interest. Kingbrook was a smart winner in soft ground at Newmarket recently and is another of interest.

Tulip Fields already boasts winning form at Doncaster this term, getting the better of Dash Of Spice on Town Moor in October. The pair make appeal at an each-way price along with On To Victory who has finished in the placings in three competitive handicaps this season, including when second at Haydock last time out. Stephen Harris of BettingExpert is siding with Raymond Tusk who will have to improve on a disappointing seventh behind Euchen Glen at newbury last time out, but is not without a chance on his best form.

One of two Listed events on the card is the £30,000 Wentworth Stakes (1.30pm) over six furlongs. The prolific Dakota Gold has enjoyed another sensational season which has included three winners in his last five runs. He was particularly impressive at Nottingham in Listed company last time but is still chasing a first win at Doncaster.

Ostilio was purchased for 90,000gns by Paul Midgley recently and seeks to record a third straight win, whilst Brando, second in the Group One Champions Sprint last time out also warrants a mention. Aberama Gold scored by a neck at Doncaster recently and given he is a course and distance winner who likes soft ground, he has to be of interest.

The other Listed event is the £37,750 Gillies Fillies’ Stakes (2.05pm). Anna Nerium has to carry top-weight having scored in Listed company at Goodwood last time out before finishing second in Group company at Newmarket last time out. She relishes testing conditions and should go close along with the progressive Freyja who has won her last two starts, displaying a good attitude to win in Listed company at Newmarket last week.

Born With Pride has ultimately proved disappointing this term was well-beaten in Listed company at Bath last time out. She does relish testing ground but has to show she still retains her enthusiasm for the sport, whilst Zahratty has only run three times for John Gosden and is perhaps of interest.
