The Welshman spent nine years, over two spells, in charge at Castle Park – a period which saw the club cement their place in the Championship and also come within a whisker of winning promotion to the Premiership in 2016.

Here, in Paul Goodwin’s latest lockdown interview, Griffiths says an emotional goodbye, reflects on the highs and lows of his tenure, and also considers what the future might have in store for Knights and rugby union.
