Evening League: Hatfield Town maintain perfect record

Hatfield Town made it three wins from three in the Doncaster & District Infirmary Evening League with a 67-run triumph at Doncaster Farmers.

Philip Fletcher’s unbeaten 96 powered Town up to an impressive total of 163-1 in a contest reduced to 16 overs a side. Rhys Mann also made 39.

Miles Robinson top scored with 39 in reply for the Farmers but they could only reach 96-9.

Andrew Decent claimed 4-26 and James Winstanley took 3-22 for Hatfield.

Doncaster Town are second in the early standings following a convincing 71-run victory over Bentley Colliery.

Jack Zuurbier struck 85 not out and Ewan Whittaker added 38 as Town posted an imposing 173-3 from their 20 overs.

Jak Hotchkiss then took 3-8 to help restrict Bentley to 102-8.
