The 31-year-old forward is part of the Sheffield Steeldogs' team taking part in the Government-endorsed Spring Cup tournament.

Elliott's team has made a perfect start - five wins from five games – and they are considered favourites to win the title.

Elliott was rested last weekend by the iceSheffield team due to a "niggle”.
