Doncaster's Beau Greaves bows out of BDO World Championship in semi-finals
Doncaster teenager Beau Greaves lost to reigning champion Mikuru Suzuki in the semi-finals of the BDO World Championship.
Greaves, 16, again showed lots of potential on the big stage but the number two seed’s experience and quality told in the end.
Suzuki’s clinical finishing saw her claim the first set 3-2 against the throw.
Greaves broke back immediately and won the second set in impressive fashion, 3-0.
Suzuki, however, won the first leg of the deciding set against the throw and, with Greaves showing a few signs of nerves, went onto win it 3-0 to set up a final with LIsa Ashton.
