Doncaster RLFC ditch controversial maroon home kit just eight months on from its launch
The League 1 club will return to their traditional blue and gold colours next season.
They revealed the switch to maroon with white hoops, alongside a blue and yellow away kit, in January and stated upon the release “the kits are a fitting testament to a new sense of direction at the club”.

The maroon kit had just six outings before the 2020 season was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Commenting on the return to blue and gold, Dons chief executive Carl Hall said: “I’m delighted to inform all the supporters that we have gone back to blue and gold for our preferred kit for 2021.
“The design is as close to our traditional kit as it has been for some years and I’m sure the supporters will be happy with our choice of colour and the design by Elite Pro Sports. They have done a fantastic job.”
