A club spokesperson said: “Unfortunately our men's first team has been affected by Covid-19.

"Following the previous weekend's game one player tested positive and he had driven three other players to Lichfield. This meant that four players had to isolate for 14 days, including two goalkeepers.

"A decision hasn't been made yet about the men's first team fixture for the upcoming weekend.”

Doncaster are scheduled to travel to Belper on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Doncaster’s ladies dropped their first points of the season as they lost 2-1 at early pacesetters Wakefield.

Emma Bray was on target for the Town Field side, who host Leeds this Saturday (noon).
