The contest was fought at a fast pace from the opening bell with Little trying to take advantage of Fox's six-month hiatus from the ring.

After an entertaining affair the referee Christopher Dean awarded the contest to Fox by a score of 39/37.

Little, who had taken the fight at just a few days' notice, impressed during the bout and certainly ran Fox close.

Warmsworth's Cameron Kaihau then stepped into the ring to face Bradford's Saif Zahoor.

The pair arguably put on the fight of the evening, with a thrilling contest unfolding for those in attendance.

Kaihau had to use of all his boxing skills before prevailing by a margin of 40/37 verdict.

In the evening's main event, Armthorpe's former acclaimed amateur Josh Padley continued his unbeaten start to life in the paid ranks.

He sealed a dominant six-round decision victory (60/54) over former English title challenger Liam Richards of Melksham.

Richards showed plenty of bravery and fortitude to last the distance against Padley, who threw everything bar the kitchen sink at his opponent.

In the end, it was another fine victory for Padley whose burgeoning record now stands at 3-0.

Richard Vaughan, Event Manager at Boxing Connected, applauded all those who attended the event.

He said: “Boxing Connected would like to thanks all those that contributed to enabling this show to go ahead.
