Vicky Haigh’s tips: Cheltenham Cup

I ONLY saw one horse fall on Saturday and it was my nap Ronaldo Des Mottes.

It was, however, great to see my old friend Dominic Elsworth riding the big winner after coming back from a serious head injury this season.

If the Imperial Cup winner Alarazi gets in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham it has to have a good chance of winning and qualifying for the £75,000 bonus.

Cheltenham is the hardest place to pick winners but my Gold Cup horse is last year’s winner Imperial Commander.

Kempes is my each way fancy.

Synchronised is my nap for the Midlands National at Uttoxeter.

He won it last year but was also very impressive when winning the Welsh National under McCoy for J P McManus on his last run.
