Taekwondo: Team ACMAC break 500 medals barrier


Team ACMAC took the English Championships by storm - racking up their 500th title in the process.

More than 50 members of the club collected 33 gold medals, 19 silvers and 22 bronzes between them.

Brooke Sockett and Joe Cope each won three titles.

Hayden Lindley, Sophie Hawkins, Lee Cutsforth, Aidan Hughes, Dom Sayle, Beth Revill and Jade Humphries claimed two titles.

Tiffiny Richardson, Shea Hughes, Sunny Singh, Charlie Ransford, Taylor Allan, James Revill, Mack Nason, Jayden Bogan, Colin Boxshall, Kian Goodenough, Stephen Jones, Paris Slater all George Emsley also became national champions.

Head coach Andy Crittenden said: “This year has been incredible. Domestically we have broken the 500 medals barrier which is unbelievable.”
