Earlier this year Sinden won a bronze medal on his first senior appearance at the European Championships.

The Great Britain star has also earned silver medals at the Luxembourg Open and Moscow Grand Prix and bronze medals at the US Open and Rome Grand Prix.

He won gold at the 2015 Junior European Championships and since then has cemented his place on the senior circuit, most notably winning bronze at the 2017 World Championships.

Sinden hopes to feature at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Manchester later this month.

Meanwhile, there was disappointment for Doncaster's Mason Yarrow at the Youth Olympics in Argentina after losing 29-6 to Japan's Hidetaka Maeda in the last 16.

The experience in Buenos Aires, however, should stand the 17-year-old from Dunscroft in good stead.
