Tacticus can make it a quick fire double at Southwell by landing the Coral App Download From The App Store Handicap for Lady Cecil.

The four-year-old really came of age when scoring a first career success at this venue last week, although his nine-length verdict went pretty much under the radar as all eyes were on the Cheltenham Festival.

While that was only a modest mile-and-a-half event, it was hard not to be impressed with a comfortable first success on Fibresand.

Tacticus could be called the winner a long way out, breezing to the front turning for home and barely having to come out of second gear to win impressively and step up on a couple of placed efforts.

The handicapper will have his say in due course but Lady Cecil is clearly keen to capitalise on this opportunity and even with a 6lb penalty, it will be a surprise if this close relation to multiple Group One winner Spinning World is beaten.

You’re Cool does not boast that sort of pedigree but he is nevertheless a talented runner who will be bidding to bring up his hat-trick in the Daily Enhanced “Magic Multiples” At Unibet Handicap.

Beaten on his first five outings, he appeared to have benefited from a gelding operation when suddenly springing into life last month with a tidy victory at Kempton.

You’re Cool had not looked totally straightforward in previous runs but he was all business as he jumped from the widest draw of all and made virtually every yard to win by a length and a half.

Upped 6lb in the handicap for that success, James Given then sent him off to Wolverhampton and while You’re Cool was made to work harder for a win, he still held on by a neck from Kodiac Lady.

Positive tactics again appeared to suit that day and now that connections have found the key to this three-year-old, he can continue to shine. Moon Arc is clearly no star but he should be good enough in the 32Red Apprentice Handicap.

He has yet to get his head in front but turned in his best effort to date when second recently and can go on from that.
