Leger Festival Day One: And they’re off!

Legendary ex-jockeys return to the saddle today for the highlight of Day One at Doncaster’s 2013 Ladbrokes St Leger Festival.

Grand National winner Carl Llewellyn, and a host of new names, will line up in the Clipper Logistics Leger Legends Charity Race at Town Moor at 3.35pm.

The race, which was first run in 2010, will help to raise money for the Northern Racing College in Doncaster and Jack Berry House, a rehabilitation facility for injured jockeys.
