Jamie McDonnell will defend his WBA bantamweight title against Japanese sensation Tomoki Kameda for the second time next month.
The Doncaster fighter got off the canvas to beat Kameda on points in Hidalgo, Texas in May.
And the two will lock horns once again on September 6, back in Texas, where McDonnell will undoubtedly be looking for a knockout.
“I’ve beaten him once and I’m certain that I’ll do an even better job on him next time around," he said at the time when a rematch was first mooted.
It will be a busy weekend for the McDonnell family with Jamie's twin brother Gavin set to defend his European super bantamweight title against Jeremy Parodi the night before.
