Cycling: Graham Briggs finishes third in British Championships

Doncaster’s Graham Briggs finished third in Wednesday night’s British Cycling National Circuit Race Championships in Hull.

The Team Raleigh rider continued his impressive season, coming home ten seconds behind the front two.

NFTO Pro Cycling’s Adam Blythe took the men’s crown after a two-man sprint for the line with Rapha Condor JTL’s Chris Opie.

Doncaster’s Tom Stewart, who rides for Madison Genesis, finished 14th.

Briggs is currently ranked second in the 2014 National Male Elite Road & Track rankings, with Stewart is 18th on the leaderboard.
