Danum Eagles face a potential title-decider against Loughborough Student Riders this weekend.

The two clubs, who meet at Danum Academy Lower School on Saturday (2pm), are currently tied on points at the top of Division Four (Midlands), although Loughborough have played one game more than Danum.

The Eagles are still unbeaten and have a perfect record of 13 wins from 13.

Victory for the Doncaster club this weekend would see them take a massive step towards winning the league title and gaining promotion in their first ever season at senior level.

Eagles were narrow 86-80 winners when the sides met previously in November.

Club officials said before the season that they harboured ambitions of playing in the BBL ‘within five years’.

Admission on Saturday is £1.50 for adults, 50p for children.
