Top of the table Danum Eagles made it ten league wins out of ten with a comfortable 109-59 success at home to Shropshire Warriors.
Victory kept the unbeaten Doncaster club on top of Division Four (Midlands) in their debut season at senior level.
The home crowd were on their feet early as the Eagles raced into an early lead, built through high tempo defence and quick transition basketball.
Forcing mistakes from the Warriors allowed the youngest member of the Eagles squad, Sam Speight, to break away for a two-handed dunk, while Josh Metcalf capitalized on the slow start from the visitors with consecutive three-pointers.
Eagles surged into a 24-8 lead after the first quarter and they continued to apply the pressure when the second quarter began.
Coach Ross Stafford made some personnel changes but the Eagles players took their opportunity to shine with some excellent ball movement which resulted in 12 unanswered points and meant that the game was effectively over at the half-way stage, with the Eagles holding a 55-20 lead.
Complacency was not an issue for the unbeaten Eagles who put on an offensive master class in the third quarter.
George Colwill, Tom Hodson and Speight helped the home side to a 37-point haul in only ten minutes of play.
Metcalf, Paul Walsh and Hodson all finished with 15 points, while Colwill (14), Mathew Martin (13) and Speight (12) rounded off a balanced scoring performance which saw all 12 players register points in a 109-59 victory.
Eagles welcome local rivals Sheffield Hallam Sharks to Danum Academy Lower School on Saturday at 12pm and will be hoping for another victory to move closer to securing the league title.
