And after renewing his relationship with the forward at Doncaster Rovers, Moore is delighted to have the opportunity to help Tulloch take a significant step forward in his development.

Tulloch joined Rovers on a season-long loan on Friday, reacquainting him with Moore, and was handed an immediate debut in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with MK Dons in which he grabbed his first assist for the club.

“He’s one that I’ve known for many years and it’s good to see him now,” the Rovers boss said.

“I was probably working with him when he was with the U12s or U14s and now he’s on the front line.

“We knew then he was going to be a top, top player.

“You’ve seen a small cameo of what he can do.

“I’ve just got to add things to his game now, where he’ll be more effective going forward.

“I’m really pleased and grateful for West Brom allowing us to have the opportunity to have him here with us.

“Our job is to give him first team football and whenever the time comes to hand him back, he’ll be a better player no doubt.”

Moore says Tulloch’s attacking aggression and pace were a big factor in his determination to sign the youngster on loan.

The 19-year-old was one of Rovers’ top targets this summer and Moore waited patiently for the green light from former club West Brom to complete the signing.

“Rayhaan has got a wonderful ability when he receives the ball that he puts defenders on the back foot,” he said.

“He never stops the ball, he front-faces people, he goes at them with speed and direction, he’s got great close control, quick, excellent feet.

“And when he gets in on goal, he’s got a real eye for it.

“So he was an exciting one.

“He just ran out of steam a bit which you can understand.

“But I thought he gave his all for the team - as did Tyreece [John-Jules].”
