Boss Darren Moore insists the injury is nothing too severe and Halliday will return to training over the weekend.

Hide Ad“Brad took a little knock and we just didn’t want to risk him again,” Moore said.
“He’s got the match minutes that we wanted to get into him.
“We hope to have him back in training over the next couple of days.
“It was something he picked up in training.
“At this late stage, we’re happy with the fitness levels he has got so we didn’t want to take any risks with him in the game.”
Reece James continues to be sidelined with a leg injury that has kept him out of full training and friendly matches for the last three weeks.

Hide AdBut Moore is confident the left back will come back into contention next week - possibly for Tuesday’s EFL Trophy tie with Bradford City.
“Reece will back in training, full contact with us, either on Sunday or Monday,” Moore said.
“Whether we look for both Reece and Brad for that Tuesday game, we’ll wait and see.
“They’ll both be 50-50 for Bradford and we’ll that decision for that game.”
