The Rovers boss feels his side have not made the most of their opportunities from set pieces this season and sees improving that as a big goal in the coming weeks.

“I’m looking certainly ar set plays for us as a team to be contributing more,” Moore said.

“It is another area we’re looking at.

“We feel we have the right deliveries there so whether it is the timing, the mindset. It is a different mindset in both boxes in terms of defending and scoring.

“We do feel we’ve got the players in the squad capable of scoring goals.

“We look at the one at Swindon, which was a second phase knockback from Butts that Fej got on the end of.

“But we are looking at contributing more from that.

“You can win a game in open play but you can also win them with set plays.

“It’s a real important part as well.”

They average an effort on goal from only 25 per cent of their corners in league matches, which is well below average for the division.

Rovers are slightly above average in the division however for the number of free kicks leading to shots 23 per cent resulting in efforts on goal.
