“We know it’s going to be a tough game. We know they ask questions with the style of play they play.

“It bodes well for a good footballing match on Saturday and we know we’re going to have to be at our best in going up against them.”

“I think Brian has done a great job there,” he said. “The mindset of the football club is excellent.

“They nurture and develop young players and have a clear ethos and DNA.

“Credit to him and his staff and the consistency they have brought to the club.

“They’re a club that are progressing in the right manner. Come here Saturday and it’ll be a tough game. It’ll be very much a different game from the other night.”

Rochdale ended a four game winless run with victory over Shrewsbury Town last weekend. Dale currently sit 18th in the League One standings.
