Here is a selection of social media reactions from fans.

@c_collins_87: Think a settled side has definitely helped, consistency in both line up and performance is key for success. Really looking forward to the season ahead and where this team is heading

@dealerboy_6: That was as good as it gets, absolutely brilliant to a man. Should have been more, two unbelievable bits of play from Gomes to set up TJJ and Fey!

@10Sbailey: Highly impressed Great all round Performance long may it continue

@glosterred: First time I’ve seen a full game this season, plenty to be pleased with. I think there is still more to come. Copps still looks good

@craigtaylor1234: Generally fairly solid, look good going forward. Inspired loans signings again by the big man.

@GedtRTID: Great result, they looked quick and physical but we did well to pass the ball and counter them well played

@rivdegab: I’d be surprised if at least not two players from DRFC get into the L1 TOTW

@JMickAndrews: Because of the excellent defence and the constant pressing of the other players Bursik was close to unemployed. It is a measure of the side that many fans will feel aggrieved that we didn't get three more goals. Good to see Copps.

@elliott_teale: Some of the football was brilliant to watch! I’d even go as far as saying it’s the best football I’ve seen Donny play since odriscall days! The pace going forward is frightening teams!

@nigelwalkden: Early days but looking good

@_edgrace: We're a bit good

@TomColes560: walking the league
