“We’ll be operating with limited trialists,” chief executive Gavin Baldwin told the Free Press.

“We’ve got some good trialists coming in this week who are genuinely wanting contracts with us.

“With trialists we have to operate within the Covid restrictions and they have to fulfil the same requirements as the players.

“But we have said trialists can come in because there are some attractive names out there that Darren wants to have a look at.

“We’ve got three or four coming in this week to have a look at.”

Rovers boss Darren Moore last week hinted he would be inviting trialists into training.

“I would like to bring one or two in to have a look,” he said.
