Update on Andy Butler's future with Doncaster Rovers
Butler has been on trial with Rovers for almost a fortnight and travelled with the rest of the squad for Saturday’s season opener against Blackburn Rovers.
Moore says the future of the 36-year-old has not yet been finalised but confirmed Butler will be back in training with Rovers in the coming week.

“He’s been training with us and he’ll train again this week. We’ll get a game in and see him in that.
“He just wanted to come to get a matchday experience and I think it’s great for him to get that.
“When players come in on trial I think it’s unfair when you only give them a couple of days. Let them come in and settle down, blow off the cobwebs and that’s what we’ve done with him.”

Hide AdButler was part of a second wave of trialists invited in by Moore for pre-season.
Of those, former Southampton forward Marcus Barnes has been let go while Moore is considering allowing the other - a young forward who was on the books of a League One side last season - to come back in for training this week.
Rovers will take on Manchester United U21s in a friendly this week as the continue to prepare for the start of the League One campaign.
