8.31pm That’s the break

ONE minute

30. Just trying to make things happen

Rovers have slowly worked their way into this game and are seeking ways to break down the stubborn hosts. Arguably over the last 20 minutes they have had the better of the ball but they’re struggling to craft the chances they need to get back into the game.

13. Settling down a little bit

It was a very difficult opening to the game for Rovers with the pace of the game suiting the hosts much more. But they’ve settled things down well in the last few minutes and they’re making more of a game of it.

An error from Pontus Dahlberg lets Joe Pritchard’s shot from distance squeak in.

Pritchard took a shot from 25 yards and Dahlberg seemed all set to collect it in his grasp high in his goal but he did not get a good grip on it and dropped it into his own goal.

That was really poor from the Rovers keeper.

Ben Close takes the kick-off and we’re up and running.

Rovers are out in their blue and white away kit

They’re a big side

We know Accrington have become a physically imposing side over the last couple of seasons but they’re massive. Rovers are going to be in for a battle this evening.

And, unsurprisingly given the lack of options, there are no changes to the side that started the clash with Sheffield Wednesday.

And the only change to the matchday squad sees fit-again Liam Ravenhill come onto the bench to fill the slot that has been vacant for the last two games.
