Doncaster Rovers' trip to Burton Albion is set to go ahead as planned after suggestions the fixture may be postponed due to international call-ups.

The Brewers had written to Rovers to prepare them for a potential postponement of the March 28 fixture at the Pirelli Stadium, having called off previous fixtures this season.

Burton also held back with ticket sales for home supporters for the fixture until there was a clearer picture but they have now opened sales.

And Rovers will put tickets on sale for away supporters once they have been received from Burton.

Clubs are permitted to request a postponement of a fixture if three or more of their players receive international call-ups.

Burton forward Nathan Broadhead and goalkeeper Kieran O'Hara received calls earlier in the season, along with striker Liam Boyce, who has since moved to Hearts, leading the club to postpone fixtures against Sunderland and Southend United.
