Here is a selection of reaction from supporters to the opening day stalemate.

@aaron_challoner: Going into the next game, we do need to improve the creativity and also, there must be more pressing on that midfield (especially in the 1st half) and hopefully more attack from the front. I'd start with Tulloch up front cause there was exciting signs. Maybe a forward partnership

@roversrossco: Early doors, new faces just started together, second half better, MK well organised. Looks like this is work in progress. Madger playing well.Looking forward to seeing this grow!

@JanBenn45814503: Was disappointed we started as we ended last season. Letting goals in in last few minutes.

@Mark34747787: Plenty of potential going forward but think we would have benefited from a calm head in amongst the young lads and definitely think that Okenabirhie should have started!

@andysimms1989: Promising signs. Richards in midfield could be some signing!

@AnthonyOgden98: Always looked like conceding, they played the better football imo, especially the first half, took the new loanees time to find their feet, as expected, definitely positives to take, Gomes I think had moments where he impressed but also moments of uncertainty

@JMickAndrews: Lost too many 50/50 balls. MK played right through the centre of midfield almost at will. Plenty of creative talent on our side but we need a ball winner. Sorenson was their MOM.

@DelanteroDave: About what was to be expected today, the team still need time to gel. Looked threatening up top but the midfield three weren't defensively solid, felt MK broke through us too quickly and easily

@JonRichmond1: Why bother with preseason if your gonna chuck in players that have been at the club for 2minutes? That selection was a complete gamble with players who've never played together before , very strange and a kick in the teeth for our contracted players

@Cross31Paul: First game rustiness, different tempo to play. Surprise fej didn’t start as the young loans have not played with us properly yet. Three or four games to get up to speed and we will be ok. Second half better than the first. Looking forward to the season. I think we’re in the mix
