Here we look at a selection of reaction on social media from Rovers supporters.

@JohnMol26416057: Why can’t we play the first half like we do the second? Also Okenabirhie needs someone up with him. His control is too poor to be a lone striker

@pgjackson1: Second best by a distance tonight decent side though Hull they will win the league I expect. Somewhat baffled by DM’s post match thoughts, he maybe should have had that Beer with Macann and reflected again

@Ady2408: Just feel we give to much respect, standing off players and panicking with stray passes. Don't rate the goal keeper and fey. We need to chase players down and hassle them… We won't go down but my opinion is that we are a top 10 side..

@EwanOgden_00: I think teams have worked out how to counter us, stop us playing our game. We need to try and switch things up

@josh_dainty: A number of players didn’t really turn up. The keeper error speaks for itself. I think the system has been found out a bit by other teams in the league and we need to have a plan b when we come up against teams like Hull. We had a good 10 minutes but overall must be better.

@J_BELLAMY_19: Outclassed by a clearly better team. Too many below par performances and causing our own problems with very sloppy play. Didn’t deserve anything from the game.

@DrfcSpencer: Terrible lacklustre performance in my opinion not enough bite in tackles, very sloppy on the ball and once again we went behind and start having to chase another game then that just causes more mistakes! Need to improve massively or were in trouble

@JMickAndrews: Harsh to blame Lumley. He had a lot more to do than Hull's keeper. Despite being outplayed for all but a few minutes we only lost by the odd goal, which indicates resilience. Feji needs a rest.

@MattPoskitt: Poor performance throughout except maybe 15 minutes in total. Okenabirhie too isolated. Maybe try 2 strikers now and again to help him out.
