Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at Brunton Park. Let us know what you think on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
1. Joe Lumley 7
Again, in the first half he did not have a tremendous amount of work to do but handled everything thrown at him really well. He batted away a few powerful drives and was commanding with crosses into the box. He came under pressure more after the break and pulled off a couple of excellent saves before he was beaten. 2. Brad Halliday 7
A strong presence at right back to deny Gime Toure opportunities to work chances down the Carlisle left. He got forward well too, carrying over long distances and linking up with Sims, Photo: Bruce Rollinson
3. Joe Wright 7
Needed to be strong and alert to deal with the Carlisle threat and he was both in another commanding performance at the back. Photo: Bruce Rollinson
4. Tom Anderson 8
Powerful and composed in dealing what was thrown at Rovers. He also showed good quality in carrying the ball out from the back when spaces opened up for him. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
