Revealed: The strongest fortresses in League One - and how Doncaster Rovers measure up

Doncaster Rovers’ promotion hopes are fading fast.

The club are now five points adrift of the play-off places with nine games to go, and are currently on a run of three straight defeats.

For the most, it has been Rovers’ away form that has let them down this term, with their total of 20 points away from the Keepmoat coming in at fifth-worst in the division.

By contrast, their home form has been by far and away one of the best in League One.

Doncaster have won 11 of their 19 home fixtures to date, drawing four and losing four.

That's the third-best form in the league, but how does it compare to their home record over the past decade?

Bankrate.com have run the number on every League One side to see who has built up the strongest home fortress over the past 10 years.
