“For me personally it has been great because I work on my own and I don’t have contact with other people so I’m free to do what I want.

“I don’t think I have had a single day off since March.”

Aaron who is from Armthorpe says he has made custom pieces for a few big names including Kasabian, Oasis, and Nigel Mansell.

Aaron says that there has been an increased demand for retro sports clothing especially from football fans who long for the days before Covid-19.

He has just completed a pair of shoes that have been inspired by the 1992 Doncaster Rovers Football Club kit, which was spoonsored by the Doncaster Free Press.

“At the time I think the Rover’s were struggling before being relegated,” he said.

“The shirt the shoes were based on is an iconic shirt and well-loved amongst football fans.”

“I hand-painted the Doncaster Free Press logo in between the lines of the shoe as well as adding the Rover’s symbol on the back.

The shoes were made for a Doncaster man who is a big fan of the Rovers team.

Aaron credits his good business during the lockdown to more people pursuing the internet whilst being at home.

“But for me, it’s been really busy.

“I’m very fortunate.”
