4.55 Can’t argue with that

It may feel a little disappointing given the timing of the equaliser, but Rovers didn’t particularly deserve anything more than what they got out of the game.

They were second best for long periods and took the lead against the run of play. The game opened up afterwards but they couldn’t find the cushion they needed to put the match to bed.

Rovers struggled with the midfield battle today against a very impressive opposition side, who played some wonderful stuff at times.

There is still work to be done. That much is clear.

It finishes 1-1 here at the Keepmoat - a more than fair result

4.48 Rovers should be behind

Carlton Morris has just powered a header over the bar and it should have been a goal for MK Dons. A let off for Rovers.

FIVE minutes

Baily Cargill has levelled for the visitors two minutes from time.

Cargill darted into the box, and powered forward before slotting into the bottom corner.

Disappointing for Rovers but fair on the balance of play.

Ed Williams replaces Jon Taylor after 87 minutes

Ben Whiteman, Doncaster Rovers, 85 minutes

Fejiri Okenabirhie replaces Tyreece John-Jules after 78 minutes

Jason Lokilo replaces Rayhaan Tulloch for Rovers after 75 minutes

The goal has made a massive difference to this game with Rovers seeing so much of the ball as MK Dons have got a bit erratic in their own play.

It’s had a big effect on Rovers’ confidence levels also. They have a bit more swagger about their play and an extra spring in their step.
